I want to add my friends name to the tile on my house as tenants in common so if i die she will get the house?

my lawyer said by putting her name on the title as tenants in common the house will go to her if i should die and she won't have to go through probate...the lawyer also said she can continue making the mortgage payments if there are any at the time of my death..i need to know if that"s the right thing to do.
