Probate South carolina?

my uncle married and died in south carolina but his wife rescided in north carolina about 100% of the time. my uncle had a vast sport collection he started with his brothers as children and had a Verbal agreement that if anything ever happened to him they get it. his wife however sold all of it and said it disappered before probate could happen after his death. the same with all of the family airlooms(?) that family gave him for his house he bought before his marrage to her. we were wondering what we could do about just getting the family materials back? we have been in court with her for a year but she only anwsers to some of the court summons sometimes not at all.
